MARAC Advertising Editor

TERM OF OFFICE

The editor is appointed by the MARAC Chair, and serves for two years. The editor is eligible for reappointment for an unlimited of terms.

DUTIES AS SPECIFIED BY THE MARAC CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS

None.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with the MAA Editor on art work/design issues.

Consults with the MARAC Treasurer on billing issues.

Maintains a database of vendors/advertisers.

Maintains the graphic design and printing specifications for advertisements and their publishing frequency.

Keeps track of advertising rates by networking with other archives societies' publication committees.

Is informed about new services, products and vendors and keeps abreast of trends in advertising.

Collaborates with the Conference Vendor Coordinator to contact new and continuing vendors.

Serves as a member of the MARAC Publications Committee.

Performs other duties as assigned by the MARAC Chair.
