MARAC Archives Coordinator


Per Section 8 of the MARAC Bylaws, the MARAC Chair will designate a senior member of MARAC in good standing as the MARAC Archives Coordinator. There is no specific term of office.


Attends all Steering Committee meetings.

Serves in a liaison capacity from the Steering Committee to the MARAC Archivist at the University of Maryland (UMD) Libraries.

Facilitates continuity in the transfer of MARAC records of ongoing value into the MARAC Archives. Consults with the MARAC Archivist on issues pertaining to the Archives.

May be called on to serve on certain MARAC committees in an ex-officio capacity.

The MARAC Coordinator may also serve as the MARAC Archivist at the UMD Libraries.
